Today is a good day for a tea party!

Today was the beginning of a great tradition! Most teenagers go out to parties and have sleepovers and do a bunch of crazy sh*t. Don't get me wrong, me and my friends do average teenage things too, but myself and two of the best people in the world decided that we were going to have a tea party! Complete with real sugar! (*wink wink* Tayla...)

FUN FACT: I am addicted to Disney movies and Gifs!

Sometimes it's nice to just sit out in the sun with some good mates and chat, this is something that my generation often forgets. That said, sometimes we do leave our computers and go into the Outernet and with today's weather that's exactly what we decided to do. "We" being Tayla (http://twirlytinki.blogspot.com.au/), Edie (http://fauxfurkittens.blogspot.com.au/) and myself. About one teapot down, myself and Tayla had a brilliant idea! Every Thursday from now onwards, the three of us would have a weekly tea party! We chose Thursday because when school comes back, it is on Thursday that we have the worst classes. That and today is a Thursday, so it's perfect! So, today a tradition was born! The following conversations were a mix of everything teenage girls talk about, including: possums, time we were extremely terrified, Disney princesses, travelling, other teenagers who shall remain nameless, movies, siblings, cats, our childhood, our future, blogs, twerking, and slow motion videos (as seen below). We ended up drinking four teapots worth of tea, so we drank a teapot plus a third each... what can we say? That sh*ts good. Mr Pepé is Edie's adorable black cat. On a side note we were talking about how black cats often don't get adopted from shelters because of the superstition that they are bad luck. If the shelter is a kill shelter (where the animals that don't get adopted get put down :'( ) often it is the black cats that don't make it. Let me just say this, black cats are adorable! Even though I am allergic to cats, I would adopt one any day. Finally, if you have no idea what to do with yourself on a sunny but not extremely hot day, try something like a tea party as an alternative to sitting indoors. Other options are: going for a walk, reading in the sun, walking your dog, going to the beach or just simply sitting outside with your friends and having a chat.

Have a cup of tea and a cookie!

Ps.. Here's an adorable video of Mr Pepé, It was too cute not to share!
